Vier Internationale Dag van de Vriendschap met Museum Maluku en Bahasa Basudara Café!

Op dinsdag 30 juli vieren we de Internationale Dag van de Vriendschap op een bijzondere manier. Museum Maluku in Den Haag en het Bahasa Basudara Café op Ambon bundelen hun krachten voor een unieke 6-uur durende live-verbinding tussen Nederland en de Molukken. Verwacht een programma vol cultuur, muziek, dans en de kans om nieuwe connecties te maken aan de andere kant van de wereld.

In Ambon nodigen we iedereen uit om naar het Bahasa Basudara Café te komen, de centrale plek om deel te nemen aan dit evenement. Hier in Nederland ben je welkom bij Museum Sophiahof in Den Haag, om te genieten van de optredens en digitaal contact te maken met de Molukken. Kom langs, geniet van het programma en ervaar de verbinding tussen hier en daar.

Bahasa Basudara Café & Museum Maluku heten je welkom bij Jendela Maluku.

11.15 uur NL/18.15 uur Ambon: Introducties
Leer Museum Maluku, Bahasa Basudara en het Bahasa Basudara Café beter kennen aan de hand van korte video’s over de organisatie.

11.30 uur NL/18.30 uur Ambon: Ukulele optreden door Kabarezsy Football Club
Kabarezsy FC is opgericht in 2018 en heeft zijn thuisbasis in Airlouw, Ambon. Hier trainen zowel jongens als meisjes op gelijke voet. Naast het trainen van kinderen die in de buurt wonen (o.a. uit Amahusu, Seri en Latuhalat), betrekt Kabarezsy ook actief kinderen uit Waiheru, Hitu, Hila, Negeri Lima, Passo, Tawiri, Mamala, Morella, Tulehu, Wainuru en Gemba (West-Seram) wanneer ze deelnemen aan competities, coaching clinics en andere activiteiten. Het respecteren van elkaars achtergrond en samenwerken voor een vreedzaam Maluku is belangrijk voor Kabareszy. Naast het voetballen, moedigt Kabareszt de kinderen ook aan om andere vaardigheden te ontwikkelen, waaronder het bespelen van de ukelele.

12.00 uur NL/19.00 uur Ambon: Dansoptreden door de Toisapu English Club
Toisapu English Club is begonnen in mei 2023 en bestaat uit ongeveer 20 kinderen in de leeftijdscategorie van 10 tot 15 jaar. De kinderen leren traditionele Molukse dansen zoals tari lenso, saureka-reka en katreji, allemaal onder begeleiding van Bapa Cepu.

Krijg een exclusieve rondleiding door Museum Maluku in Den Haag! Je wordt live meegenomen in de expositie ‘MALUKU 2.0’ van kunstenaar Mano Som. De expositie brengt een ode aan twee eeuwenoude traditionele Molukse dansvormen, de menari en cakalele, en geeft ze een eigentijdse twist.

11:30 AM NL / 6:30 PM Ambon: Ukulele performance by Kabarezsy Football Club Kabarezsy FC was founded in 2018 and is based in Airlouw, Ambon. Here, boys and girls are trained equally. In addition to training local children (including those from Amahusu, Seri, and Latuhalat), Kabarezsy actively involves children from Waiheru, Hitu, Hila, Negeri Lima, Passo, Tawiri, Mamala, Morella, Tulehu, Wainuru and Gemba (West Seram) in competitions, coaching clinics and other activities. Respecting each other’s backgrounds and working together for a peaceful Maluku are key values for Kabarezsy. Apart from football, Kabarezsy encourages children to develop other skills, including playing the ukulele.
